Sony CEO Howard Stringer interview

Mr. Stringer seems like a cool guy. He’s realistic. And I mean, there’s an air of elitism in there, but overall, I think he’ll be a fun chap to sit and chat random stuff with. Heck, don’t they call him Sir Howard Stringer in England? Anyway, he sat down and did an interview with Cnet. It’s a pretty good interview, but this part caught my eyes.

The expense of the PlayStation 3 at first led to a “mildly catastrophic” profitability curve, Stringer said, but the prices are coming down and the game titles are generating profits. He said the next game coming out, in June, will use the “full capacity” of the console and will be “spectacular.”

Subtle hint at MGS4 being awesome? Yes. Yes it is. For more of the interview, follow the link below.
