This holiday season, there’s going to be plenty of new PS3 owners. As of the end of November, actually 500,000 more PS3 owners. So, what’s a PS3 owner to do or to buy? Well, this year, there were a lot of great games that was released. But you know all about that right? You’ve been reading the Project Tideas reviews. But what if you want to do other stuff? Like, change the harddrive of your PS3 (because you bought the 40 gig and have run out of space already)?

Okay, so you got all the facts you want, but still need help on picking up games for your newly bought PS3? Okay, well, hit the jump to see my recommendation in 1 short neat sentence summary.

Resistance: Fall of Man (17/20)

This launch title still is awesome to this very day. It’s about 15 hours long, has both an awesome single and multiplayer mode, and, it offers two player off-line co-op, which believe me, is extremely fun (especially when a little intoxicated).

Motorstorm (15/20)

It’s a racing game. It’s an off-road racing game. And its intense. Need anymore suggestion? Only thing that sucks is the long load time when selecting vehicle, but the dev talked to me, and told me that it was just due to their inexperience with the PS3. Here’s hoping to Motorstorm 2!

Heavenly Sword (16/20)

Warhawk (17/20)

I call it Warcrack. Yes. It’s addicting. With the new expansion, it’s even more addicting. Read my review here

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

When I first played the demo, my mom asked me if I was watching a movie. Enough said. Get it!

Folklore

Not a lot of people heard of this game, but basing on the demo alone, I can recommend this game in confidence. Unique use of the sixaxis. Wonderful art direction. It’s an action rpg. What more can you ask for?

Eye of Judgment (14/20)

Played Magic: The Gathering? Well, it doesn’t matter, because Eye of Judgment rock! Highly addictive. Give it a chance. You might like it ;). Read the review here

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune (18/20)

Pure AAA. No doubt about it. It’s the highest scoring PS3 game in my review collections. Read the review

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (18/20)

This game is just an adrenaline rush from beginning to end. From singleplayer to multiplayer. Awesome, awesome game. Read the review
